4 Subjects Down: The Return of Yume

And that is not "The Return of Dreams"

I'm here are the school cybernook downloading some language learning materials. I'm on a roll. Though Korean will always be the top priority, during the time when I take breaks is when I'd study the rest of the languages which are European Languages. Italian is top priority---for reasons that I've started studying Italian first.

Anyway, 3 of my subjects are over--- or 4, which is why I am here. Procrastinating. I should be studying for my exam TOMORROW though.

Okay on to my story.

OH. MY. GLOB. I can't believe I passed my HistoII subject! I thought I was a goner for sure! I'm sooo happy that my professor is quite considerate when it comes to learning. I realized that he didn't solely graded us from what we answered on the test correctly, he also grades us based on the other things we learned that didn't appear on the exam! These "other things" can be seen in our answers as fillers for questions we have no idea what it's about. So yeah. I PASSED. I thought he'd give me a 5 (failing mark) on the 4th exam but he didn't! I got a 3.6 which made me cry tears of joy srsly. That's a failing mark (3 being passing). Thanks to the 3.6, I got a 2.75 class standing! Yay!

I still can't believe it. I was just sooo happy c':

Natsci8 is over. But I'm scared. I'm not sure if I made it. And I don't know how I'd know my grades. And yes, I can't English anymore.

KAS4 is over. All that's left is for my professor to hopefully give us a high grade in our presentation and in our paper. But I've no idea how that would turn out. She didn't say anything during and after our presentation though, I guess that meant she figured we did a lot of research. Oh and I passed my second exam! Which totally a big deal to me because--- I fail in all History subjects. Memorization is not my strong field.

PI100 is over! Well, I'm not sure how "over" it is. For all I know, my professor could misplace my papers or be unsatisfied with it, but yesterday after I presented my project, he looked pretty pleased. I felt so happy. He even clapped which signaled the class to do the same. I don't know what grade I'll get but I hope he considers the project which I did for hours! I spent more that 24 hours doing that including 3 sleepless nights! Phew. I hope it's over and I hope he gives me a good grade.

So that's 4 subjects down but this blog isn't over yet! Nope, not yet over.

Last October 2, I started reading this manhua "Witch Hunter". It seems pretty good sooo after all this is over, I'd go downloading that. And I also finished watching Bones Season 8 Episode 13 (which got me fired up since it was an episode on Pelant)

P.S. currently reading 1/2 Prince Chapter 63~

Kuroko no Basuke

I forgot to blog about this right away bububu ;A;

Anyway, my friend Loui suggested this manga / anime. It's a really funny sports manga/anime. I haven't finished reading the available manga volumes so far (I think the last one I read was Volume 11, funniest volume so far IMO).

It's different from other sports manga/anime where one or only 2 characters hog the spotlight. In Kuroko no Basuke, the importance of each team member is shown throughout the volumes / episodes.

Synopsis (in my own lame words): The Generation of Miracles was a 5-member team who won championships after championships in the middle school division. But, there was a rumor that there was a phantom 6th member with no game records. He's recognized by the 5 other geniuses but nobody knows his existence.

That person is Kuroko Tetsuya. After graduating from middle school, he joins a newly formed school, Seirin. He meets a hot-blooded basketball idiot who the coach will later on call "basuke bakagami" (basketball idot Kagami). Kagami Taiga studied middle school in America and thinks lowly of basketball in Japan. He joins the basketball club 'cause he likes basketball but becomes hyped when he finds out about the Generation of Miracles. Kuroko chooses to be Kagami's light in order to beat the Generation of Miracles.

Kuroko reminds me how invisible I am. lol.

Anyway~ Here are some spoilers panels
Kuroko finds a stray dog and Seirin looks at the two.

Hyuga's clutch time! DIZ IS ZAPAN.
Hyuga is Seirin's captain. He has a split personality. lol.

The panel before this was sooo funny. If you've read it you know what I mean. lolol
Kagami lost in a game of rock-paper-scissors.

I was shocked when I saw this. lol Mitobe is so...awkward.

a flashback. cat-faced-idk-what-his-name-is talks about Basketball rules, or so he says.

That is Hyuga! omg spoiler~ hoho.

Midoricchi sees Tetsuya #2 and he is pissed! lol.

 Kuroko finds the Tetsuya#2

Kuroko's admirer, uhh manager(?) of the Generation of Miracles
faints at the sight of Kuroko and Tetsuya #2!
Seirin cleans a locker room! Their coach...is scary as usual.
Yep. Their coach is a student and a girl. o u o

 After cleaning.

And yes, it's a big deal, that diorama.

Everyone else but Kuroko's locker is clean.
Seirin finds an awesome manga and are distracted from their cleaning duty.
Yes, that's just how awesome Kuroko is at cooking.
I also won't lose in boiling eggs.

Just Read: PSYREN

Psyren. What on Earth. This is a planet, not a star.

Last night, I downloaded volumes of Psyren (yarrr mateys). It has 16 volumes and 146 chapters. Chapter 146 is an omake and is not with the rar file on mangatraders.

Anyway. I recommend this manga for those interested in: time travel, parallel worlds, superpowers, planetary stuff, and monsters. I basically just gave you a spoiler lol.

Just Read: Gakuen Babysitters

I just read Gakuen Babysitters~ I wonder when Chapter 36 would be up.

At first, I couldn't make myself read it. The protagonist looks like a girl. But the story has a lot of interesting characters, it's really funny.

D.Gray-Man and the Recent Updates

I just read all the updates I didn't read and guess what? I understood N O T H I N G.

Has it ever happened to you? Starting a manga, reading all the chapters until the last chapter available, then waiting for an e t e r n i t y for the next chapter? And somehow, while waiting, you ended up reading 71623917238 mangas, then BAM! An Update.

On my earlier post, I mentioned that the chapter I last read was 214.

I read all the chapters available online and...

[SPOILER ALERT]

D.Gray-Man and the Woes of Reading an ON-GOING Manga

I forgot what chapter I last read. The last time I read D.Gray-Man continuously until the last update was summer of 2012 (April-May). After that an update came. Or maybe two updates. I totally got lost.

Anyway.

I clicked one of the recent updates and I had no idea what was happening. Kept clicking the chapters before that and finally saw the chapter I last read---or so I think.

And it's....(drum-roll please!)

D.Gray-Man Chapter 214

Searching for Allen Walker, the Awakening. Phew.

I might or might not be able to re-read the chapter (to refresh my mind) then finish 'til the last update.

This always happens when I finish reading the last update of an on-going manga. Then the despicably long interval before the next update. I always, always end up forgetting the last chapter (or what happened), and I'd have to re-read the last chapters to get the "flow" of the story again.

Kamisama Hajimemashita: Finished Reading Available Updates (As of 01/10/13)

Now waiting for Kamisama Hajimemashita Chapter 89.

So yeah. What a cliffhanger, I was right. Those black painted nails belonged to "Kirihito". The past is soooo messed up. I don't know how Tomoe and Yukiji would end up (for the present to continue undamaged), if Tomoe would see Nanami and stuff.

What would happen to "Kirihito" and Nanami's meeting?

THE PAST HAS BECOME SO BOTHERSOME THAT I COMPLETELY STOPPED WORRYING ABOUT TOMOE AND HE DOESN'T EVEN EXIST.

P.S. I thought this was real.

Kamisama Hajimemashita Missing Chapters

All of a sudden, I had no idea what was happening.

Koutaro was in the swamp, searching for Himemiko and I was like wait, WHAT?!

So, I checked the chapter and saw that the chapters after Chapter 66 were missing.

Anyway. I'm working on it.

Meanwhile, searching for a new non-gay shoujo manga to read.

Now Reading: Kamisama Hajimemashita

And I've fallen in love with Tomoe-dono.

I have this weakness. Gray/White haired anime/manga guys with non-human ears (it be elf, dog, cat or fox). Tomoe also had this chibi form oops spoiler to anyone who haven't read the first chapters and a part where he was wearing glasses.

I like the main character, Nanami. You know what she's thinking, why she's doing things.

And the catfish princess is also cute. Teehee.

Anyway, I recommend this manga for anyone who likes foxes (and other familiars). I suddenly remembered A Thousand Years Ninetails. I should check updates for that too. Probably be rereading the last chapters before the update though.

Rant on Shoujo Mangas

I just turned thirteen. I must fall in love ♥.

Those kind of lines, pisses me. Anything similar to those, it be "I just entered high school". Although one of the mangas which will always be one of my favorites, "Koukou Debut" or "High School Debut" had a lead character who wanted to be feminine and get a boyfriend in the beginning of the story, I am dis-gus-ted by any shoujo manga that begins with that. Not to mention the HUGE shoujo-manga eyes that have millions of stars in them.

When looking for a manga to read, I read the synopsis. Most of the time, I am repelled by those few sentences. "Girl A will fall in love with the most popular boy in school but what about Girl B, who is Girl A's best friend who is.... yada yada, blahblah." Seriously. Can't we be a little creative here?

Second: Lead characters who can't choose between two guys.

It's an accepted fact that someone will get friendzoned, so it's not a big deal. One of the mangas I've read (which I regret reading), "Gentlemen's Alliance Cross", had this lead character saying "I will marry them both!". What the fudge.

Third: They're Everywhere.

Specially ecchi ones. I am honestly allergic to ecchi, girls doing disgusting poses, trying to be cute / seductive. Not cute.  (I've read a few, years ago, I was bored).

So, what do I like?

My favorite genre would be "gender bender", I've read almost all non-ecchi / smut / hentai and non-yaoi/yuri/shounenai/shoujoai gender bender mangas and manhuas. Next would be comedy. Majority of the mangas I've read are shoujo mangas. Only a few remains in my heart. And yes, you read that right. I don't read yaoi/yuri/shounenai/shoujoai. Grossgusting, as Coraline would say. We have our own preferences. I'm just telling you crazy fangirls, ME NO GUSTA.

Anyway, manga calls! じゃね~!
