I forgot to blog about this right away bububu ;A;
Anyway, my friend Loui suggested this manga / anime. It's a really funny sports manga/anime. I haven't finished reading the available manga volumes so far (I think the last one I read was Volume 11, funniest volume so far IMO).
It's different from other sports manga/anime where one or only 2 characters hog the spotlight. In Kuroko no Basuke, the importance of each team member is shown throughout the volumes / episodes.
Synopsis (in my own lame words): The Generation of Miracles was a 5-member team who won championships after championships in the middle school division. But, there was a rumor that there was a phantom 6th member with no game records. He's recognized by the 5 other geniuses but nobody knows his existence.
That person is Kuroko Tetsuya. After graduating from middle school, he joins a newly formed school, Seirin. He meets a hot-blooded basketball idiot who the coach will later on call "basuke bakagami" (basketball idot Kagami). Kagami Taiga studied middle school in America and thinks lowly of basketball in Japan. He joins the basketball club 'cause he likes basketball but becomes hyped when he finds out about the Generation of Miracles. Kuroko chooses to be Kagami's light in order to beat the Generation of Miracles.
