Yume's 2013: Year End Special

2013 is coming to an end and...so here's a wrap up of my year.

I STARTED WORKING AS A TUTOR
It's the first time I've done it. I've been teaching grade school to high school students since June this year. And... honestly there's a lot I need to work on, but that's what the training is for. If I were to grade myself for tutoring... I'm giving an 80%. Haha. Most points deducted due to my amazing rapport / people skills (I am not a people-oriented person) and occasionally being late.

People from my work place, from my bosses, seniors and co-workers are all warmhearted people. I really enjoy teaching children, getting to review the old and forgotten lessons of the horrible past called elementary and high school which I've slept through, the free food, kindness and the training for free so we could improve as teachers. Remind me to train myself for touch mathematics ><

I TOOK THE TOPIK AND FAILED.
And for that reason, I've prepared a lot of study materials so I'd somehow get a decent score on the next TOPIK next April. However, I haven't gone through everything yet.

I CONFESSED MY FEELINGS.
I never thought I'd do such a thing, it was supposed to be anonymous, sadly it ended up with me giving in, him sort of finding out who I was--- upside's we got to chat a few times. No matter how tense I am each time, I really enjoy chatting with him. If only we knew each other in person, I think we could have been friends.

I DID SOMETHING WORSE THAN CONFESSING.
Details of which I shall not say but it's been bothering me for the past few days haha. Until that day comes, I'll probably think slash worry about it from time to time.

I USED THE MALE'S RESTROOM TWICE.
One was during a field trip as advised by our professors, second was...purely accidental. I mistook the drawing for a female stick person and went in without seeing the male urinal. HAHAHA. I vowed not to enter that mall for some time, in case the janitor sees me.

I EARNED A NEW FRIEND.
Since I stayed in a dormitory during the first sem, I got to bond with new people. One of them was someone I never thought I'd ever be friends with. She...ended up going back to her hometown. But if it weren't for everything else, we wouldn't have been friends. I believe that...all these college problems are a part of God's plan. Whatever that might be.

I'M BACK HOME.
Long story. I don't know how it'll turn out but.... yeah. God's will be done.

I GOT AN UKULELE!
Dad bought me one this month. I can play a part of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". It's my first time playing a stringed instrument that requires strumming.

I BECAME A FAN OF B.A.P
Yes, that's very significant. It was probably around January when this all started.

I SAW LINDSEY STIRLING IN PERSON.
I even got my CD signed but I was too speechless! She's so awesome! It was a free "concert" too. It was soooo worth it going all the way to Alabang. I did walk from Pasay to PGH with my legs soaked by the flood but IT WAS JUST AWESOME.

There's probably more but... I'm lazy so, let's jump to my "New Year's Resolution"

ISFJ Personality Type: Support Class

Took another personality test and this is what I got.

The ISFJ personality type is perhaps the most altruistic and supportive of all types. ISFJs rarely sit idle – there is always a worthy cause awaiting their attention. Most personalities are quite willing to reciprocate when it comes to good deeds; however, ISFJs take that to a higher level, often going above and beyond what is actually expected of them. People belonging to this type thrive in areas that are both traditional (they are SJs, after all) and involve a lot of activities where their input could make a huge positive difference. Many ISFJs seek careers in the academic sector, medicine, social work or counselling; their personality traits also shine in administrative or clerical roles, or even in somewhat unexpected fields such as interior design.


One of the hurdles that ISFJ personalities are likely to encounter in the professional environment is that it is quite difficult for an ISFJ to “advertise” their achievements. People with this personality type are prone to understating them, which leads to lack of recognition, missed promotions and various misunderstandings. ISFJs should not shy away from revealing how much they have done – not only this would prevent stressful situations, but the ISFJ would become more confident in their abilities and personality traits. It is not sufficient to simply know that you have done a great job – ISFJs also need to feel appreciated in order to remain enthusiastic. The fact that this personality type tends to be less visible than others does not help in such situations either.


ISFJs should also pay more attention to their workload and not hesitate to voice their concerns if it becomes unbearable. ISFJs tend to overload themselves with work, but their kindness is abused just as often as it is respected. As a cynic would say, everyone is secretly an egoist – and the ISFJ personality is the perfect target for those who do not hesitate to use other people for their own gain. ISFJs are extraordinarily loyal, committed and patient – they should make sure that these traits do not expose them to exploitation.


People with the ISFJ personality type often have very good memory and exceptional imagination. These traits can manifest themselves in a variety of ways. For instance, an ISFJ can easily notice discrepancies in someone’s story when the person repeats it again after a long period of time; ISFJs also find it very easy to choose the right gifts for persons they know well; finally, they may have no difficulties whatsoever making and maintaining personal and professional connections simply because they remember so many details about other people’s lives and habits – a very unusual trait for an introvert.


I would like to expand on the last point a bit – even though most ISFJ personalities rarely have any difficulties fitting in and making new friends in the professional environment, they are unlikely to use those connections to advance to managerial roles. ISFJs function best when they work in a close-knit team, when there is no tension between the management and the employees. Some ISFJs even go as far as seeing all their colleagues as semi-personal friends and behaving accordingly. For instance, if an old colleague moves to another department, the ISFJ will definitely consider following their example.


Kirsten Dunst ISFJ People with this type are known for their meticulousness, patience, reliability and analytical skills. This is quite an unusual combination given that this is a Feeling (F) type, but this is exactly what makes ISFJs so effective. They are unlikely to offer or embrace completely new and radical ideas, or lead a team towards some big goal, but their determination and passion more than make up for it. ISFJs tend to be very traditional and can be expected to defend existing norms and procedures – however, they are not blinded by this and are generally open to change, provided that the new approach does not contradict their inner values and principles.


Despite their effectiveness in the workplace, ISFJs will always put their family first. They will embrace the idea that family members are the most important people in their environment and act accordingly, paying a lot of attention to their needs and desires, surprising them with gifts and offering emotional or practical support when it is needed.


That being said, ISFJ personalities should be aware of their tendency to overdo things, especially in the family environment. As ISFJs always try hard to exceed others’ expectations (especially when they are not sure what those expectations might be), their attention can be somewhat overbearing. Many personality types, especially more independent ones, are likely to get annoyed by this after a while. Furthermore, some personalities are naturally less sensitive compared to ISFJs – their reaction to that care and attention may differ from what the ISFJ would expect. This should not be taken personally – every type is unique and what is pleasant for an ISFJ may not feel natural for someone else.

INFJ Personality Type: Seemingly Extroverted Introverts

The INFJ type is believed to be VERY RARE (less than 1 percent of the population) and it has an unusual set of traits. Even though their presence can be described as VERY QUIET, INFJ personalities usually have MANY STRONG OPINIONS, especially when it comes to issues they consider really important in life. If an INFJ is fighting for something, this is because they believe in the idea itself, not because of some selfish reasons.

INFJ personalities are drawn towards HELPING THOSE IN NEED – they may rush to the place of a major disaster, participate in rescue efforts, do charity work etc. INFJs see this as their duty and their purpose in life – people with this personality type firmly believe that nothing else would help the world as much as getting rid of all the tyrants. Karma and similar concepts are very attractive to INFJs.

These tendencies are also strengthened by the fact that INFJ personalities have a unique combination of IDEALISM AND DECISIVENESS – this means that their creativity and imagination can be directed towards a specific goal. Few other personality types have this trait and this is one of the most important reasons why many INFJs are able to eventually realize their dreams and make a lasting positive impact.

INFJs are MASTERS OF WRITTEN COMMUNICATION, with a distinctively smooth and warm language. In addition, the sensitivity of INFJs allows them to connect to others quite easily. Their easy and pleasant communication can often mislead bystanders, who might think that the INFJ is actually an extrovert.

INFJs should be careful to avoid “overheating” as their zeal and determination can sometimes get out of hand. As introverts, INFJs need to have some “alone time” every once in a while or otherwise their internal energy reserves will get depleted really quickly. If this happens, the INFJ may surprise everybody around them by withdrawing from all their activities for a while – and since other people usually see INFJs as extroverts, this can leave them both surprised and concerned.

INFJs take great care of other people’s feelings and expect others to return the favor. Unsurprisingly, people with this personality type are very sensitive and vulnerable to conflicts – even the most rational INFJs may find it quite difficult to not take criticism personally. This is the INFJ’s Achilles’ heel – if someone with an INFJ personality cannot escape the conflict, they will do their best to deal with it head on, but this will result in a lot of stress and may also potentially lead to health problems or highly irrational behavior.

I'm not really studying right now. Tonight I've decided to make a list of the curriculum at TTMIK and mark the ones that I should study first, verb endings / linking verbs that I've always wanted to learn, familiar verb endings that I haven't seen in the past few levels I've explored.

I met 2 people online, one on twitter and one on facebook who study Korean. The first one has only been studying for around 6 months. He knew how to say a lot of things but he lacked vocabulary and his spelling was terrible. The second one has been studying Korean for 2 years. She uses 존댓말. 그 여자가 TTMIK에서 공부하는지 몰라요. I don't know if she studies at TTMIK but her sentences are better than mine. She uses a lot of words too, so I could see that her vocabulary is better than mine.

Meanwhile I started lazily learning Korean since... 2010. I think I started learning around... July or August when my friends who knew hangul inspired me to learn hangul as well. I learned basic expressions at livemocha but I've forgotten when I started studying at TTMIK. My Korean which was barely anything improved a lot when I started studying at TTMIK. So I could say it's been 3 years including the time I started learning hangul.

I know how to improve my Korean. It's just that... I need more time. The TOPIK next year would be held next April. I only have around 4 months to prepare. 초급 중급 둘 다 하고 싶어요. I want to take both the elementary and intermediate level. For that I need to study almost all available lessons at TTMIK, practice past TOPIK exams, familiarize and memorize 5000-6000 Korean words, practice practice and practice.

If that twitter guy learned that much Korean in 6 months, I should also be able to do just that. My goal is to surpass those two people and pass the TOPIK. 중급 하면합격하는지 잘 모르겠는데 매일 한국어를 공부할게요.

My goal for the rest of December is to learn grammar, familiarize myself with the vocabulary and practice. On January, I'll start studying all the past 중급 토픽 that I've printed out.

그리고 한국어로 생각하는 것 곧 익숙해야 돼요.

The Heirs: A Must Watch or Not?

Everyone waited for the release of The Heirs. Although I promised myself that I won't watch it since it'd be mainstream, because of Kim Woo Bin, I decided to watch it.

[SPOILERS, maybe]

I think "Heirs" is wasting too much time on slowmo's of Kim Tan and Eun Sang. I don't even look at the screen when they're having a slowmo moment or whatever. I think Young Do is a better pair for Eun Sang---but Eun Sang doesn't deserve him--he's too cute for her when he's in love. And then there's Bo Na and Chan Young--the cutest annoying clingy couple of the year, Kim Tan's mother and Eun Sang's mother...Myung Soo too. If it weren't for them I wouldn't last 'til episode 16. = v = I don't feel a thing when Kim Tan or Eun Sang cries.

So you might ask, is it a must watch? In my opinion, not so much. Unless you're a big fan of any of the cast.

TWO REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT WATCH THE HEIRS:

1. Kim Tan and Eun Sang's love story develops too fast.
In my opinion, the development of Young Do's feelings towards Eun Sang is more natural and has more potential. Also, Kim Tan does everything just 'cause he feels like it. They also have a lot of slowmo's together, staring, walking--it's a waste of time. Also, Young Do saw Eun Sang first. I think it's really weird, also Young Do's reactions are interesting when he's showing his affection. He's so cute when he's in love.

2. The cuts after each episode are boring.
When I watched School 2013, I couldn't stop after the episode finished because of cliffhangers. After each problem was solved, another would appear before the episode ends so it's impossible to not want to watch the next episode ASAP. Meanwhile, each episode of Heirs end at a dull time, the "falling action" of each episode which is really... discouraging. As if Kim Tan and Eun Sang's love story wasn't boring enough.

3. Bo Na's English is better than Rachel/Rael's
Everyone's English is terrible---except for Krystal / Lee Bo Na, her English is awesome and she should at least have been placed in a higher ranking family. Does it make sense that Rachel / Rael knew how to use English since she was 8 or 10 but Bo Na speaks better than her? At first I thought "Rachel/Rael"'s English was good when she said "open the door" in Episode 1, but I was wrong. Her English isn't that good.

The people in Jeguk High also spoke in English but oh my glob they were terrible. No one matched Bo Na's English at all. Bo Na is awesome.

REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH IT
1. Choi Young Do
He's annoying. He has issues, BUT: he is so cute when he's in love. His sense of humor is also good. Also his theme song is badass.
2.Kim Tan's Mother and Eun Sang's Mother
At first, Kim Tan's mother was annoying---since she was always drinking and bullying Eun Sang's mother. But as you watch, you'd realize that she's an amusing person to watch haha! Kim Tan's mother and Eun Sang's mother and their bond is special.
3. Lee Bon Na and Yoon Chan Young
Bo Na's a clingy girlfriend. Chan Young is the tolerant boyfriend who finds everything that Bo Na does cute. They're so cute when they're together. So annoyingly cute.
4. Myungsoo (not the one from infinite)
He's always with his camera and he's always being funny.There was this episode when he called Young Do "oppa" because he said he was the youngest daughter of the family.
5. Kim Tan and his Hyung
I can't wait to see them make-up.
6. Eun Sang's Mother and her sign language

5 Reasons Why I'm Allergic to Girls

I'm a girl but I have a confession to make: I can't stand girls---not all girls--just most girls who act like... "girls". 

REASON #1: "Girls" only see cute/handsome/hot guys
When a group of girls enter a room or a place, one of them immediately scans the room for cute/handsome/hot guys. once one spots a guy like that, that girl will whisper and giggle to her friends. "Hey look! That guy over there in a blue shirt is cute, right?!" "Hottie alert!" They will say something pretty much along those lines. And they will disrupt the silence of the place whispering about that guy, wondering what his name is, if he has a girlfriend etc. They will not notice anyone else.

Perhaps, their Mr. Right is just next to them, sitting or standing silently, but they will never know.

REASON #2 "Girls" talk too much about fashion, clothes, and more stupid things like make-up.

Long hours of their pathetic girl lives are spent on talking about the new make-up they saw at the mall, about the lip gloss their friend/fiend is wearing, the clothes on sale, new shoes and so on. When one of these girls buy a new blouse or bag, the other girls will go coo over it endlessly, spending an unnecessary amount of time making a fuss over a stupid bag/shirt/shoe.

While they are busy dolling up and thinking of ways to look fashionable, God knows what useful things their brains actually have for them to survive life.

REASON #3 "Girls" sometimes talk about their delusions way too much.

Anyway, whether the met their crush's eyes by accident, it's sure that they'd be assuming a whole lot of things and imagining all scenarios that leads to a beautiful daydream of them marrying their crush and having children. The sad thing is that, they have to tell their friends about that. And of course their friends would fuel that up. 

I just think it's unhealthy. Especially when they let other people hear their pathetic conversation and shrill giggles.

REASON #4 "Girls" don't really talk to girls who aren't like them.

Probably because other than their delusions and obsession about boys, fashion and make-up... they don't know anything else and would probably be useless in an intellectual, worthwhile talk.

They won't really talk to people who aren't dressed like them and so they have no chance to redeem themselves from the way I am thinking of them right now.

REASON#5 "Girls" get frustrated from not being in a relationship.

And all they can think of is getting into a relationship. Oh please. 

Of course there I guys who are like this too.

Girls and guys alike who think this way needs bad scolding. Being in a relationship means loving a person and not doing a show-and-tell that you have a girlfriend/boyfriend. Being single doesn't mean you're ugly and unlikable. So please stop posting selfies with oh-so-dramatic captions of you on facebook at a rate of 100 selfies per day because that's not going to get you a boyfriend. 

Improve yourself before you get into a relationship. Think about what you want to have in life.

Sadly, most girls wouldn't take this advice and brand me as "serious" and old-fashioned. They will also continue doing all the girl things they do and annoy the frog out of me.

When I started watching "Fabulous Boys" 原来是美男, my first impression of "Jeremy" wasn't very good. He was childish and a little inconsistent at first. If you watched the first episodes, you'd know that Jeremy warmly congratulated "Mei Nan" after getting acknowledged by Tai Jing but when they were in the airport, he complained about having to go to a conference just to welcome Mei Nan. Also, he was smiling at such random times, as if everything was amusing.

Of all the three, I liked Xin Yu at first. The happy, cheerful and vitamin C obsessed Jeremy didn't appeal to me---except when he said phrases in another language, like  おはようございます！/ Ohayou Gozaimasu / Good Morning and 가자! Let's Go (in Korean).

But that was before I watched the last few episodes. I still saw him as an unnaturally cheerful person but... I saw him in a different light.

In their band, he was their drummer, but he also played the violin for Mei Nan.

After watching the series, I checked all their OST and found out that... he sang some of the OSTs!!!!

Mid-November

Arin's TOPIK Preparation
I'm still stuck with my November vocabulary list and well, I haven't been doing anything else related to Korean. Next week, I want to finish everything. I need to buy notebooks so I could start making my notes more organized. With that I could also start studying TTMIK lessons again. Oh and I need to print their Iyagi pdfs.

My Korean schoolmate told me I had to start with the Elementary first, but I'm stubborn so I'm going to take both instead hahaha.

First Volunteer Work

Philippine Red Cross 11/12/13

A friend of mine in facebook who also volunteers at KCC posted a status about the Philippine Red Cross needing volunteers. It was just the perfect thing for me since I've been itching to help out these people from Tacloban in whatever way I can. So I went there on my own and helped out.

We finished real fast because the shift before us had repacked almost everything. After 30 to 1 hour, more volunteers came. We just waited for the noodles so we could include it in the plastic bags. The person in charge thanked us all for coming. It took less than 30 minutes to finish distributing a few boxes of noodles to the packs.

The rest of the work required a lot of muscles and since a football team came, they did the work. So did the rest of the guys and some ladies who were strong enough to carry three 4 liter bottles of Wilkins up to the second floor.

Wanting to volunteer was the first reason that I went to Manila. The second was to find the reason why my friend was going to file a leave of absence for a while. She said she might go home on the 3rd week so I just had to see her before she left.

It turns out that she was going to transfer.

Back to her hometown, seas far from here.

I usually don't mind not seeing people, including friends, knowing that I would see them again or that I could see them again. This time it's different. There's no way I can swim across seas to see her. She was my roommate too. It's sad and I'm thinking of a gift to give her before she leaves Manila for good.

I only have 2 days to think about that gift. 

I also realized that although we've been together the entire semester in the same room, we never took any pictures together. I must have a picture with her too.

However the difference between these universities in the World Ranking is huge. Only Seoul National University makes it to the top 100 schools in the world. I can only imagine how hard the entrance exam is for all those universities.

How to Learn Korean Fast

You probably want to learn Korean because you're into something Korean. It may be their food, culture, hallyu, kdramas, kpop etc. You might even be aiming for the TOPIK! Whatever the reason is, if you follow my tips, I'm sure you'll learn Korean in no time!

1. Learn Hangul.
Hangul is one of the easiest Asian "alphabets" to learn. If you've tried memorizing Japan's Hiragana before, or tried learning Chinese, you'd know what I'm talking about. You could google for hangul charts.

Each syllable is written per syllable.
ㅂ (b) + ㅏ (a) = 바 (ba)
ㄷ (d) + ㅏ (a) = 다 (da)
ㅎ (h) + ㅕ(eo) + ㅇ(ng) = 형 (hyeong / "hyung")
ㄱ (g/k) + ㅣ(i) + ㅁ(m) = 김 (kim)

NOTE: If the syllable starts with a vowel, you have to use a "filler" in the beginning, which is "ㅇ(eung)"
ㅇ + ㅏ(a) = 아 (a)
ㅇ + ㅡ (eu) + ㄴ(n) =은 (eun)

I think that all kpop fans should learn Hangul, at least learn your idol's names in hangul.
A good way to practice one's hangul reading skills is by reading kpop lyrics in Korean.

Note that the consonants change their reading depending on where they are in the syllable (initial/final).

2. Learn Korean Grammar: (Visit TTMIK)
Grammar is very, very important in learning Korean and the best site for learning Korean for free is TTMIK. That's talktomeinkorean dot com. (http://www.talktomeinkorean.com/)
At TTMIK, you can learn Korean grammar one step at a time! Here's TTMIK's curriculum.

Korean Grammar is different from English Grammar.

So, accept this syntax: Subject +  Object +  Verb 

(내가) 널 사랑해. (Naega) neol saranghae.

나/내 nae = I; 가 (subject marker); 

내가 naega = I (doer / subject)

너 neo (you); 를 reul (direct object marker / receiver marker); 

너를 neoreul ->널 neol  (you + direct object / receiver marker)

사랑 sarang (love), 사랑하다 saranghada (to love);

+어요 eoyo/아요 ayo (verb ending. present tense)

사랑해(요) saranghae(yo) 

NOTE: Subject/Doer doesn't necessarily have to be in the sentence.

That is why I omitted "내가" (Naega) = I.

As you know, most people just say "사랑해" (Saranghae) = I love you.

3. Learn Korean Vocabulary
You can't really use your grammar if you don't have much vocabulary. This is where your memorization skill comes in. Don't worry, you'll remember a lot of words even without memorizing as long as you watch Korean dramas or listen to Korean songs (and check the lyrics).

4. Practice: Listen. Read. Write. Speak.
What's the use of learning a bit of grammar if you don't practice?

(1) LISTEN: Watch Korean dramas/movies & Listen to Korean Songs
Some Korean phrases, words or expressions may be familiar from watching way too many Korean dramas. It's best to study and expose yourself to the language so Korean would sink in well.

(2) READ: Sing along Kpop songs by reading the lyrics in hangul!
Never look at romanized lyrics to Korean songs ever again. From now on, try to sing along your favorite kpop songs with the lyrics printed in Hangul. That way, you'll remember the words better. You could also check the translation of the song and try to check the dictionary for the meaning of the words. Use dictionaries and the vocabulary pdf I gave you for the words and TTMIK for the grammar.

You can also read the Korean brands of those Korean food in the "Asian/Foreign Goods" section in the supermarkets or Korean stores.

If you have Korean friends on facebook, try to read their posts. It's usually hard to understand posts by Koreans since they use 반말/Panmal (Casual Form), but it's a good way to practice your hangul reading skills.

(3) WRITE: Install a Korean keyboard and start posting in Hangul.
Post in Korean, install the Korean Keyboard. If your OS (OPERATING SYSTEM) is Windows, just go to the Control Panel then to Regional / Languages / Keyboards.

Post in Korean in SNS (fb,twitter etc.).
Get your Korean corrected by posting at: http://lang-8.com/

Also practice writing traditionally: write your idol's names, write Korean sentences etc in Hangul on your paper, notebooks etc. Just don't write on walls okay? Vandalism is very bad.

(4) SPEAK: Sing in Korean, say phrases/expressions in Korean

TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) is a test you need to pass if you want to study, work or live in Korea. By answering the past TOPIKs, you can improve your Korean. If you're just a beginner, practice the Elementary TOPIK. If your goal is to study in Korea, practice the Intermediate TOPIK.

The TOPIK has 6 Levels.

Elementary (Level 1 and 2)

Intermediate (Level 3 and 4)

Advanced (Level 5 and 6)

NOTE: You need to pass at least Level 4 if you want to study in a Korean university.

6. Practice More

Immerse yourself in all things Korean, especially Korean TV shows and Korean songs.

October's End: Nothing Much

Family DAE. Daehyun day.

So I went with my cousins for the Family Day. It took forever. In the afternoon, my cousin and I stayed at the Narra benches and started talking about all sorts of random things. We took pictures, most had my cousin eating in it, and got a little shameless. Haha. I "posed" twice on the bench, got caught by some students the second time and I almost felt shame. Nevertheless, we still took the picture.

We were really just waiting for everything to be over when we saw this 2-colored cat. We followed it down the stairs. Sadly, it entered the cat hole---it turned out to be a "pusang kanal". We attempted to look for other holes where the tube or whatever led, but we couldn't find one. We went back to the gym and ate pizza.

We went to places where people didn't hang out much before we saw the cat again. The cat headed to the "umbrellas" so we climbed the wall that separated the path and the umbrella area. I didn't think I could climb that. It felt awesome.

While I waited for my cousin to climb the wall, I followed the cat, the annoying cat that escaped to the parking lot by passing under the metal fence. My cousin finally caught up to me and I tried going under the metal fence. Guess what? My head and legs could fit in. Therefore, I could have gone under that and I could have chased the cat to the parking lot. Of course I didn't go under the fence lol. There were people on the other side, including the guards and some parents coming in by car.

So, I tried applying for Rarejobs since I have nothing better to do---other than studying for next year's TOPIK. Since I had no idea what I was doing, I took their English Proficiency Test without going to a quiet place and without being fully prepared. I got a C. The TV was on full blast as well. Hudson Hawk is currently showing on TV, dubbed in Tagalog. 

Interview would be in 3 days. So I guess I'd expect a call anytime Monday or Tuesday. I sure hope this goes well. I really need a job. ArinMIN. Tutor ID: 70626

Yume Recommends: School 2013

오늘 밤...아니...오늘... 아침 ㅋㅋㅋ 이미 아침이당~ 드디어 학교2013라는 영화를 다 봤는다! 너무 너무 너무 좋아해! Tonight--- I mean, this morning? I finally finish watching all of School 2013 (학교2013)! I really really like it. My feelings for this show were overflowing the entire time, though I must admit my emotions had been strange--- laughing at some emotional parts, feeling fluffy from all of the shipping possibilities---School 2013 is a really good series to watch if you're up for friendship, daily life and school genre.

School 2013 will make you laugh, cry, angry, inspired and so on. You shall explode with "feels" as you ship one person to another (there are infinite possibilities jk).  It's all about friendship, school and the trials that comes with it. 무서운 부분 보면, 걱정하지 마세요. There's a events that would make your heart beat so fast, almost wanting to stop watching---or continue watching until all the tension is over. The series progresses with one tension at a time. Friendships develop, new friendships are born and old friends will reconcile. Even if this isn't your genre, try finishing an episode. You will definitely enjoy it--we're all been students after all. Note, don't expect any "romance", however Nam Soon and Heung Soo's relationship is more than enough to fill for that.

All of the actors and actresses did a really great job. It's a really moving show. The guy who played Jung Ho also played a role in Shut Up Flower Boy Band, a complete 180% change! I watched Jang Nara for the second time. Lee Jungsuk for the second time (we all remember him from Secret Garden right?) and the Vice President from Rooftop Prince---she's also good. The Principal too (from Secret Garden, Rooftop Prince).
